WEB PAGE MAINTENANCE

Once your site has been published, you may need to make changes from time to time. I perform maintenance at the rate of $25 per hour, prorated.

If your site requires regular changes due to the nature of your business, we can work out a monthly maintenance fee which would result in a cheaper hourly rate.

Site ReDesign

The web world has certainly evolved over the years and technology has changed. Even sites that were created with a good initial design become dated and stale. Every few years, it is a good idea to give your site an update to take advantage of new trends and current technologies and standards. Redesign projects are quoted by project or charged by the hour, depending on the job.

Search Engine Optimization

Though I am not a search engine optimization expert, I do create sites with your keywords in mind and optimize your pages to target those keywords. I keep up with changing trends and incorporate them into each page created.

PRICING (New Design)

The basic web page can be designed and programmed for approximately $125.00. Such a page could include these features, to name a few, along with the services listed:

• banner title, graphic or logo
• graphics (scanning included)
• email link
• choice of background color and color scheme
• links to external sites (URLs)
• consultation time at your business site or by phone for non-local clients
• digital photography for local clients

More complex pages (those incorporating forms, javascript, PHP programs, PayPal, Flash, sliders, animation menus, complicated layouts, etc.) and multi-paged sites can be easily built and are priced as needed for clients. Pages are intended to focus on one idea or product. Pages can be very long, but it is a good idea to keep them to 2-3 screens to keep the message focused and to prevent relentless scrolling.

DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION

Securing a unique URL address, i.e., domain name, adds a professional strength to your website. Well Webs will register your unique name for you. Having a ".com" or ".net" of your own simplifies the look up for the consumers trying to find your site.

UPLOADING YOUR SITE

Well Webs works with you in finding web hosting for your site. I currently use a third party company that is affordable and reliable. It offers 99.9% up time and extensive statistics that help you determine how effective your site is in promoting your business.
